pina
Furnished with authentic 19th Century pieces, this is bbKip's most elegant bedroom. The bedstead and frame are originally from France and made of solid oak; the vivid red walls leave some space to the original paintwork, which I carefully restored during refurbishments in the Summer 2009. The en-suite bathroom complements the elegance of the room.
déco
The furniture in this room is originally from 1930 and built in cherry and walnut wood; it was crafted by my great-grandfather Antonio for my grandfather Gaetano's wedding. The room's charming orange bathroom, planned and refurbished by myself, is in striking contrast to the purple walls in the bedroom.
serenissima
This room was formerly known as "Castello" (Castle), before I decided
to tackle its complete refurbishment. Its blue paint, scattered with
little white dots, makes it feel as if you are lulled by the sea; two
paintings help tell the tale of Venice The Serene: a faithful copy of
Canaletto above the bed and the painting by the window.
On the right wall is an authentic rudder salvaged from an early 20th
Century boat.
The en-suite bathroom, originally the only one built within the house,
offers plenty of space, including a full size bathtub.
